P/\ST + Tygroo

music
P/\ST and Tygroo are heading to ARCHA+ and that means only one thing: the best concert of the autumn is here!

Eat human – that is the message conveyed by the band Tygroo through the central song of their new album. It comes after a six-year hiatus, during which the four-member group of artists gradually created songs characterized by a variety of genres and incredible energy. The album will be launched together with the Prague duo P/\ST. The concert will be opened by Jen Hovorka and Mára Urbánek, followed by French producer and DJ Zartan and A+++ (amphibian rec.).

After six long years, the famous Prague music group is preparing to release its third album. This band, which is difficult to classify in terms of genre, has been enchanting Czech and foreign audiences with its unmistakable style for almost ten years. During this time, it has undergone many musical transformations, from its initial inspiration by New Orleans and Balkan brass bands, through wind house in the style of the American band Moon Hooch, inspiration from Czech rap bands, to its current mix of Balkan music, trap, and contemporary EDM.

But Tygroo has always sounded like Tygroo, even if not always the same, which is confirmed on their upcoming album Eat Human. Dark electronics transport us to a bunker somewhere after the end of civilization, where a party is being held to celebrate another day of survival. Thick sub-basses knead the trance deeper and deeper, wind instruments touch the edges of madness, and sarcastic rap self-flagellates our own human transgressions. Salvation may come at dawn, when we discover with relief that we have danced our way into another day.
