Dukla + Sunnbrella + Media Service

The Prague band Dukla will present their new EP Další rok (Another Year) at ARCHY+. It will be released on September 26. David Žbirka, who will also perform with his London project Sunnbrella, contributed to the final form of the new songs as a producer. He will also present his new EP live with his band. The evening will be opened by the young artist duo Media Service with their fresh debut My Key Is The Last Sword, which sounds like an autumn soundtrack to a big city at night. The concerts will be followed by an afterparty.

Dukla

A Prague band playing guitar pop carrying the legacy of new wave, post-punk, 90s guitar music, but also contemporary club music. They have released a number of singles, several EPs, and two albums. Their latest album, Stejný lepší (2024), shows a shift towards more club-oriented music, without abandoning what is typical for them – distinctive melodies and nostalgic lyrics that reflect city life with admitted naivety. In the fall of 2025, the band will release their new EP called Další rok. Their fellow musician Sunnbrella participated in the production.

The project by London-based musician and producer David Žbirka began as a lo-fi bedroom pop venture that gained attention after the release of the single "Feelin' Invisible," which he produced together with Eyedress. David soon shifted his artistic vision in a more sonically ambitious direction, effortlessly combining his love of ethereal shoegaze and dream pop with rhythmic, vintage, yet modern dance-inspired sounds, all underscored by a strong pop sensibility.

Media Service

The musical project of the duo dj ema & mahr junior (pbcc*) balances on the border between dream pop and contemporary sound. Their first album, MY KEY IS THE LAST SWORD, was released in May this year and followed up on last year's single "common cold."
